Assalamualaikum Warahmatullohi Wabarakatuh
Respected Brothers and Sisters in Islam,
I hope you are in the best of Imaan and Health.
Alhamdulillah through the grace and bounty of Allah Ta’ala and your pious Duas a property has been donated to the above institute by one generous sister. The value of the property is in excess of £250 000. There is an outstanding mortgage of £60 000 on this property belonging to the sister which will now be the responsibility of the management to pay of. The property will also need some refurbishment and an extension together with wudhu and toilet facilities which will cost another £40 000. We are requesting all brothers and sisters to try and contribute to this worthy cause by making Dua and also by contributing financially.
Our aim is to open up an institution where together with Salaah facilities we can also cater for the children of our locality and specialising in the memorisation of the Holy Quran. In the South London area we do not have an institution where our children can come and memorise the Holy Quran on a full time basis. Children have to travel as far as Leicester and Blackburn to achieve this. Alhamdulillah at present we have 25 children doing the Hifz of the Holy Quran.
The Muslim Community has been growing rapidly through immigration and also by conversion of Non Muslims and therefore the demand is also increasing. We therefore wish to open up a Dawah centre where people can come and learn about Islam and accept Islam. In the past 5 to 6 years more than 500 people have accepted Islam here in the Croydon area. We do not have a facility where we can educate them about authentic Islamic Knowledge. This is resulting in them gaining incorrect information and at times has also resulted in them abandoning Islam and returning to Kufr and disbelief. We as the Muslim community will definitely be answerable to Almighty Allah for this.
This project is run under guidance and Duaas of many senior Ulama of England together with Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai Saheb of South Africa.
We would request all brothers and sisters to try and contribute to this worthy cause by making Dua and also by contributing financially through Lillah and Qardh-e-Hasanah donations. We have also enclosed a standing order form which we request you to try and fill up so you can help us regularly in this noble cause.
We would also request you if you are one of the responsible brothers in your local Musjid that you arrange for us a suitable day when we can come and do a collection in your Musjid.
Our volunteers will be doing a collection in your area for the above Institute you can donate to them directly or you can send your donations to the contact details above.
May Allah Ta’ala reward you in this world and the hereafter and make it a means of our entry in Jannat ul Firdaus. Ameen
